Christmas mapping for towns & local authorities

The mapping that will turn
your town centre
into an attraction.

Every winter, the Christmas lights become an eagerly awaited moment for your residents and your visitors. Chronix offers towns, communities of communes and public bodies a particularly striking format: façade video mapping.

More impactful than lighting alone, mapping turns your town hall, church, monument or main square into a narrative canvas that brings your streets to life throughout the festive season.

For a Christmas mapping, brief us as early as you can: the production schedule is tight.

Why mapping?

Better than conventional lighting

Where conventional illuminations simply dress a building, mapping tells a story. Here is what it brings your town in practice.

A tourist attraction

Visitors come to see the mapping, stay in the town centre and spend in your shops. A proven snowball effect on the Christmas markets that have one.

A media object

Every screening generates organic social media shares. Free visibility through your residents and visitors, with local press coverage guaranteed.

A renewable format

A new storyline every year, without changing the installation equipment. The initial investment is spread over several seasons.

A message carried by your town

Your visual identity, your history and your institutional messages built into the storyline. The mapping becomes your voice.

The Christmas mapping in Levallois-Perret

December 2026 · Mairie de Levallois-Perret

One façade, a living tableau.

In 2026, the Ville de Levallois-Perret entrusted us with animating the façade of its town hall for the end-of-year festivities. From sizing the projection to the animated scenes and the technical projection itself: a service steered from A to Z by our team.

The result: a video mapping that turned the imposing façade into a living tableau, seen and shared by thousands of visitors over the period.

Levallois Christmas mapping — the illuminated town hall façade
For which type of façade?

Mapping works particularly wellon

Town halls & institutional buildings

Classical, modern or contemporary architecture — every style has its narrative potential.

Churches & historic monuments

Subject to ABF heritage-architect approval for listed buildings — we guide you through the process.

Châteaux & public buildings

Vast surfaces and worked relief — ideal ground for ambitious storylines.

Façades on main squares

Landmark buildings lining a square: maximum impact on passers-by.

Favourable technical criteria

A flat façade, or one with structured relief, a sufficient throw distance (15-30 m minimum), an available power supply point. We come on site to confirm technical feasibility before any quote.
