The Chronix Halloween universe — night scenography at Le Village Hanté
Seasonal universe · Halloween

The night the scenery comes to life.

Mist creeping along the ground, a bell tolling, a glow going out just behind you. You walk on, and the place breathes, watches and follows you.

Our Halloween universe is not decoration laid over a site: it is a journey you live through. A catalogue of immersive attractions — sound, light, smoke, animated automata — to be assembled to turn a park, a street or an estate into haunted territory.

16+ concepts · in the catalogue Interactive or standalone · to suit your visitor flows Turnkey or bespoke
How we work

Three ways to work together.

From a fully turnkey project to the single element that completes your event.

Full creation

You are creating an event and want to delegate the creative work. With our artistic, technical and production teams, we deliver a turnkey project — design, operational organisation, execution — within a defined budget.

Completing an existing project

You have already built your project and are looking for concepts to round it out. This catalogue of ideas gives you a sense of what we can do; adaptations are available on request, with concrete turnkey proposals after a short preliminary study.

Subcontracting & bespoke work

You are a supplier on a project, or you are looking for a bespoke or standard creation. We work alongside other suppliers already on site, and we create new concepts from a defined brief and budget, or adapt something existing.

The catalogue

Sixteen concepts to haunt your site.

Trails, animated automata, interactive effects: to be assembled to suit your space, your visitor flows and your chosen level of fright — from family-friendly to full-on.

The Riddle of the Ancient Symbols New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Riddle of the Ancient Symbols

You reach the crossroads of the occult symbols. They were not placed there by chance… Step closer, and you will discover their true nature.

Panels of symbols light up and fade out through dynamic backlighting, as though driven by a life of their own. Some produce sounds, others spit out air or smoke. In interactive mode, a combination of activations triggers a show.

Demonic Platform New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

Demonic Platform

Somewhere between curiosity and courage, those who dare to stand on it will trigger a startling smoke effect.

Light and sound on the standard model; our smoke platforms wrap the person in a tunnel of smoke for a few seconds. They can be linked to external effects and combined with one another: several visitors then have to be standing on several platforms at once.

The Gloomy Graveyard Seen at Neufvy-sur-Aronde · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

The Gloomy Graveyard

Crosses unlike any other… They appear and disappear, rise up and lie back down.

Wooden crosses mounted on pneumatic rams pivot through 90°, moving from horizontal to vertical in an adjustable time (from 10 s down to 2 s). Light, mist and the sound of moving timber make the effect striking.

The Alley of Sound-Makers Seen at Parc de l’Étrange · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

The Alley of Sound-Makers

On the face of it, this alley is merely unsettling. But just when you least expect it… you will be caught out.

Our sound-makers detect visitors passing and play an unsettling sound. They are placed at strategic points to frighten people exactly where they do not expect it. A guaranteed surprise, for adults and children alike.

The Gathering of Potions New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Gathering of Potions

A scene of dialogue between several cauldrons, carried by moving smoke and light.

Our cauldrons are replicas fitted with a lighting system and logs to suggest fire, plus an internal smoke system. In interactive mode, they smoke harder and glow red as you come closer, as though you were being warned off.

Coffins of the Undead Seen at La Maison du Frisson · 2020 Non-contractual illustration

Coffins of the Undead

Coffins in which the dead are anything but at rest… They hammer away and try to escape their grim prison.

Our burnt-wood coffins snap as visitors pass. Some only make the noise, others lift their lid to a variable height and speed. In interactive mode, some appear lifeless and snap only as you go by, for an even more startling effect.

Luminous Apparitions Seen at Neufvy-sur-Aronde · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

Luminous Apparitions

A light touch of lighting that plunges visitors into an atmosphere poised between the fantastical and the intriguing.

Gobo projectors cast symbols onto surfaces; they appear and disappear, with or without a soundtrack. A simple, effective way to bring a space to life — as a complement to an act with live performers, for example.

The Menace of the Trees New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Menace of the Trees

Once night falls, nature takes back control and will do everything it can to frighten you. Do not imagine for a second that the trees will help you get out alive.

An animation loop is projected onto the trees (or onto other surfaces). The idea: to drop visitors into the middle of a conversation between trees that reject them and order them to leave. In interactive mode, the trees come to life only as visitors pass.

The Choir of the Trees New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Choir of the Trees

The playful, good-natured take on The Menace of the Trees.

The same projected trees, but this time they sing. A lighter passage that eases the mood of the trail, to be enjoyed by young and old alike.

The Alley of Burning Embers Seen at Neufvy-sur-Aronde · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

The Alley of Burning Embers

A walk through the red glow of burning embers… one you would rather leave quickly.

Available in two versions: two illuminated “low walls” emitting smoke and lined with pozzolan stone; or a platform with red backlighting and smoke bursting from the ground, better suited to a short crossing. Both come with sound effects.

The Fire Barrels Seen at PARC SAINT-CLOUD · 2023 Non-contractual illustration

The Fire Barrels

A playful and striking piece… At last, you can play with fire in complete safety.

The barrels are interactive and remotely control flame generators the moment a visitor strikes them. A tribal soundtrack invites everyone to create flames in time with the music.

The Magic Water Jet New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Magic Water Jet

A playful, poetic and enchanting piece, for a lighter passage to be enjoyed by young and old alike.

A water reservoir and a vertical jet, with an illuminated symbol control panel: a hand held above it governs the height of the jet. Sound effects can be linked to it. The piece can also be made more unsettling through colour and soundtrack.

The Path of the Frogs Seen at Parc de l’Étrange · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

The Path of the Frogs

A passage out of time that can take the shape of a fantastical landscape or of a cursed forest…

Projectors with eye-shaped gobos are scattered through the vegetation; with a matching soundtrack and controlled brightness, the illusion is perfect. The eyes can look menacing or enchanting depending on colour and sound, and their shape can be adapted on request.

The Knell of the Damned New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Knell of the Damned

A gallows fitted with a bell stands in the middle of the crowd. On the face of it, all is calm. But when the bell tolls, the atmosphere changes…

A repeating sequence opens with a calm scene, softly lit and restful. Then the bell rings: everything turns grim, thick fog rises, and the veil between the dead and the living seems ever more fragile.

The Gate of Hell New for 2026 Non-contractual illustration

The Gate of Hell

Will you dare to walk through it? It rises in your path and challenges you…

A structural arch, dressed with scenery, lighting and smoke generators, creates the illusion of a portal to be crossed. It comes with sound effects and dynamic lighting effects.

Summoning from Beyond the Grave Seen at Parc de l’Étrange · 2025 Non-contractual illustration

Summoning from Beyond the Grave

A pentacle traces itself on the ground and comes to life, along with the setting around it.

A pentacle made from 50 cm LED neon, driven by show control. A one-minute loop repeats so that every visitor can enjoy it without creating a bottleneck along the trail, and it can be used differently from one project to the next.
